TGIF!! It’s that time again! Let’s all share five random things about our week. Here’s mine:

Overall it’s been a tame week. But things are getting busy again because that’s how life rolls. I did order a few clothes on Amazon Prime Day because I had time to shop online. But who knows if I’ll like any of them. I send back so many clothes.I had bloodwork done this week with a nice, young technician.. I have good veins, but on first poke  the vein must have rolled, and the collection slowed. He capped the second tube and told me, “I’d better get another technician to do another poke.” I’m like, “Nah, you’ve got this, just use the other arm.” He relaxed and easily got the last tube from that poke. I don’t know what he expected, but he did everything right. Some pokes just don’t hit the perfect mark. It made my day happier to ease someone else’s day a little bit   Yeah, yeah, I really am getting old.We have our two trips coming up fast, and it suddenly seems like a lot to manage. I was telling my daughter in law, and she’s like, “You had to schedule both in the same month???”  I pointed at Wizard and blamed him for having the nerve to want to see his brother. But I am excited since I’ve never been there (Oregon) and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone.Yesterday we went to see Baby Lieutenant. It’s only been two weeks and he’s changed so much! When he was awake, he was full of smiles and baby babble. It was so stinkin’ cute! We really enjoyed seeing him. Turbo was at his Boys and Girls Club that had a field trip to go golfing. So we missed seeing him, but we didn’t want him to miss the field trip with his friends. Oldest and Daughter in law had the cutest T-shirts made Wizard and me with this printed on them: We love the t-shirts! This weekend I’m going to get organized for the trips. Or at least that’s my plan. Wizard will go racing, which frees me up to do what I need to. I also need to see if I can drop Maggie off at Youngest’s for more practice time being over there. She’s going with us for the camping trip, but will stay with them for the Oregon trip.
