And, I'm Back

It’s been a month since my last email. About half of that time was spent on a bicycle, riding from Maine to the southern end of Connecticut. The other half was consumed with preparing to go, then catching up when I returned.

I don’t take a lot of vacation photos, but here’s a nice shot I got while waiting for the ferry that took us from Martha’s Vineyard to Rhode Island.

And here’s one of an excellent slice of Key Lime Pie. I had my first ever slice of this wonderful stuff on Cape Cod when I was a kid. So, I associate a baked good made from limes (allegedly) from Florida with an island in Massachusetts.

I enjoy reading while I’m on the road, and this trip was no exception. I read the first three books in the Amra Thetys series.

The cover to The Thief Who Pulled on Trouble's Braids

These books are a lot of fun. Amra, the titular main character, is a thief. She’s not a shining knight disguised as a thief. She’s a crook. She’s also very funny and will, when all else fails, do the right thing. I’ll probably finish the entire run before the year is out.

Military Science Fiction

Looking for a summer read? How about some tales about space rogues and military might? I’ve got an exciting collection for you!
