and they ask, What was it all for?

I will say,

For love.

That will be enough.

That is what no one ever forgets:
how love made them feel,
how it taught them to fall,
and forever believe
we were built for more
than we could ever imagine.

Love repairs.
Love restores.
It is a choice,
made again and again,
instead of surrendering
to the fear of everything else.

For fear is the opposite of love.
It cannot remain
where love is alive
and well.
