I'm 83,000 words into the book I'm currently writing, and I haven't yet read a single chapter from front to finish.

I'm writing it in a rather experimental fashion, with one pass for background and separate passes for various plot lines and characters. I'm stitching it together as I go and leaving lots of notes in the margins. The first draft is complete for most of the chapters, but I still don't know what they look like in total.

I'm sure it will take a lot of revisions, but it has been an interesting process in contrast to my usual linear, chronological approach.
