Also, I did it! I finished the first draft of the next (and probably final) Mistress Henbane story. It turned out to be a novella, all right. Seventy-six pages and 21,600 words. These are Victorianesque fantasies, where students at a men-only magicians’ university go in search of some missing classmates, aided by a secretive women-only order of wise women.

It’s a rough draft, and I know there’s much more work to do. Still, this just might be the Project X I made a resolution about back in January. We’ll see if I can have it ready by November.
