After getting burned out from writing/editing/promoting in 2016, I took a hiatus from all that. Just recently, when I nearly lost everything in a bit of a computer disaster, I decide to get back into it.

The first step was to release the first three books [The Mars Imperative (TMI), The Tesserene Imperative (TTI), and Sunrise Destiny (SD--2010 EPIC Award nominee)] as paperbacks at long last. They willl be available on Sept 5th (TTI/TMI) and Sept 8th (SD). But I didn't just re-release the original books. I edited the heck out of them and made hundreds of minor edits in each to enhance the writing and improve the "reader experience". At least I hope I did that. 8^} The Kindle eboooks are available today.

My other two books, My Other Car is a Spaceship (MOCIAS)--my bestseller from 2014--and Aliens Versus Zombies (AVZ), had some comments that I thought were unfair and incorrect, but I decided to make some changes to shore up the parts they objected to, to avoid similar comments in the future). I may even add a chapter or two near the end of MOCIAS to address something that bothered *me* all this time. (I killed off a main character "off-screen". I plan to insert a heroic send-off for the character.)

As a result of those more extensive edits, the paperbacks won't be ready until later in the year.

I've also started a third book in the Imperative Chronicles series, but it's way too early to offer an ETA on that.

BTW, the "computer disaster" was that both of my backup drives died the same day! Fortunately, I was able to find all of my published manuscripts elsewhere.

Unfortunately, I did lose a new manuscript that I started a few years ago and was half finished, as well as some short stories. Sad, but not devastating, as losing all of the finished books would have been.
