A busy week with lots of research.  Reading old newspapers, looking through hundreds of photos, reading old letters, and memories.  Still I found some time to swim before the pool closes for the winter and our team continues to compete in trivia competitions.  I just haven't made the time to polish up some gems for you because I'm knee deep in the unpolished history of Humboldt County (and loving it!).
