We’re in the midst of another stretch of very hot weather here in Southern Ohio. I worked yesterday and even in an air-conditioned store I was overheated to the point of feeling nauseous I ran home on my lunch break to check on Miss Emma. Even with the larger of my two A/C units running, the house was 80F. I found her snuggled up on her cooling mat, as calm as she could be. What a blessing that mat has turned out to be! Even so, I started up the smaller bedroom unit for her and closed her in there, which didn’t make her happy, but it was for her own good

I haven’t built a puzzle in awhile, but since I had today off and since it was another hot one (94F with what felt like 1000% humidity- why do I always imagine September will magically be Autumn-ish??) it seemed like a good day to puzzle. This 350-piece puzzle by Kodak called Fremont East District was fun and fairly easy. The colors were not quite as vibrant as I am used to with Kodak, but I liked the old cars and the palm trees. I’m not into gambling, so this is as close to “the strip” as I care to get, lol.
