Nara Woods
The center of the story. A brilliant yet reckless scientist who is protective of her independence but learns to rely on others. Nara struggles with trust in general, whether it be others, authority, or herself; she is constantly questioning what is right as she tries to stay true to herself.
Superior Power: Language Decoding
Rail Woods
Nara's adopted brother and one of the people she deems important to her. He is sarcastic and distrustful of authority, much like Nara, but also perceptive and guarded. He has a close friendship with Stark, as the two practically grew up together.
Superior Power: Teleportation
Maria Martinez
The "mom" of the group, she often believes she is bringing a realistic view, but all it sounds like is nagging to Nara. However, Nara does value her opinions.
Superior Power: Emotional Stabilization
Deaton Marks
Nara's buddy from college. He is extremely loyal to Nara despite working at the Human Intelligence Agency. He is emotionally vulnerable and protective of Nara. He's willing to follow along with Nara's antics, which Maria would normally scold her for.
Stark Stein
Friendly, upbeat, helpful. His kind-hearted nature does not get overlooked by those around him. He is a close friend of Rail and is very protective of him.
Superior Power: Super Strength
Grant Woods
Commonly known as Gramps by his adopted grandchildren, Nara and Rail, Grant is the Mayor of Cherrystone Falls. He was also the lead scientist at Cherrystone Labs when it operated 33 years ago. He has a rocky relationship with his grandchildren throughout the series.
Superior Power: ???
Vile
Martian Power Prince of Mars. He's not fully an antagonist because all he wants is his father's power back. But his ties to Nara are adversarial in nature. Nara and Vile find each other at odds, but also mirrors of each other.
Human Intelligence Agency/ Dr. Guinevere Voss
Having taken an interest in Cherrystone Falls and Superiors, this agency, led by Dr. Guinevere Voss, had made an enemy out of Nara and friends. They go against Nara's belief in autonomy and anti-authoritarianism. They believe in experimentation on a massive scale, making them the major antagonist in this story.
Officer Richards
A cop who is a thorn in Nara's side. He is constantly trying to catch Nara in the act of something illegal to arrest her.
