Announcement!
The announcement is out! 🎉 I’m so excited to share that I’ll be the illustrator for Metal in Motion by Lynn Street @lynnstreetbooks 😍 I’m incredibly honored to be illustrating Lynn’s lyrical text about one of my favorite artists, Alexander Calder.
When I taught elementary art, I loved sharing videos of Calder and his magical Circus and mobiles with my students. Then, this past May, I visited the National Gallery and had the chance to see their collection of Calder’s work in person. To now be illustrating a picture book about Calder feels like such a full-circle moment, and I’m incredibly grateful.
I look forward to working with the team at Peachtree Publishing/Margaret Quinlin Books @holidayhousepeachtree for seeing my potential as the right illustrator for this book.
Coming Fall 2028! ✨
