Conlectus Aquae

I am a puddle.
Stepped on, overlooked, avoided.
I am a puddle.
Cold, inconvenient.
I am a puddle.
Tainted, unwanted.

I am a puddle.
Reflecting all the shimmering lights in the city.
I am a puddle.
Full, complete, comprised of so many beautiful droplets,
It became a unique agglomeration.
I am a puddle.
My connotation mirrors my observer,
Never my core.
