Last Saturday, the 19th of this month for the calendar-deprived, I rolled the clock over to 65 years. First off, I’d like to thank everyone who had the chance to kill me in my sleep but didn’t, for allowing this to happen. You’re all awesome. Now that I’m old enough to be recognized as the village idiot… excuse me… village elder, I thought I should impart a few tidbits of wisdom to the young ones here.

First, if you’re like me, a/k/a 6’5″ and tickling 300lbs with hands the size of hams – according to my wife- and you’re wearing a Lean, Mean, & Green Hulk T-shirt, telling strangers you first wore this shirt to Anger Management is not a way to calm anyone down.

I also discovered that if three women in medical garb enter a room chanting “SHOW US YOUR BOOBS,” the odds are they are not referring to my glorious nipple endowed slabs of man meat. No, sadly, they turned out to be new fans of my writing. They had found some promotions online and correctly assumed there may be versions, like these, that they, and you, could ogle and enjoy.

Speaking of writing, and I kind of was there if you squint, my lighthearted romp into the shallow end of the theological cesspool known as The Book of Enoch has taken over my life, and is now over two normal-sized books long with no clear endpoint in sight. The good news is that Hail the Fallen is a ripping good read. Also, be kind; I created the cover you’ll be seeing when you click the link.

However, while that is a book for down the road- in other words, when I finish the damn thing- your tingly parts will squee knowing that The Darkling Wind is nearly completely edited and will be headed back to me for final approval and any last-minute changes. As you might infer, there are a lot of flaming bowling balls in the air in Darkling, and Nancy wants to make sure they’re all accounted for before she sets it free.

The Plato Wars is ready for editing, and beta-readers have said nice things about it. gen-O-pod() Wars has also been completed and beta-read. Since I like you, I have added a few of the Beta reviews at the bottom of each page linked in this paragraph.

Finally, the love of my life completed her radiation therapy following her surgeries for breast cancer, and everything seems to be in remission. Some of you sent your prayers, and they were, and always will be, appreciated.
