Dear conspirators,

Good news! One of my poems, "Paddle Past Rainbows," appears in this newly published anthology of poems from teachers and students. 

It's a poem about the interplay between joy, fear, and resilience in the face of adversity...but it's also about paddling like mad to avoid getting smashed by a massive set wave in Portugal. :)

Our book is finally published using Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing program! All proceeds from book sales will go directly to my non-profit organization, The Caring Crayon Project, which raises funds to sponsor creative writing classes for underserved students. Last year, through the sale of my own poetry book, we raised $6,000 and partnered with Writers in the Schools to sponsor 50 Houston students for creative writing workshops.
