Today Kirkus Reviews published its review of Stone of Alisanos, the second book in The Venerated Legacy.

The verdict: GET IT.

"An engaging historical epic distinguished by its strong lead characters." —Kirkus Reviews

"A compelling, tortured love story and a vivid evocation of the turmoil of a difficult place and time." —Kirkus Reviews

That makes two for two. Hand of Belenos earned the same verdict.

Ethan and McKenna lived with me a long time before they lived on the page. To have a reviewer meet them and see them exactly as I did means more than I can say.

If you've read Hand of Belenos, you've already met them. Now you'll learn where Duncan came from, and what it cost.

Stone of Alisanos is coming soon. Hand of Belenos is available now.
