I have always been pretty casual about politics. The word ‘apathetic’ might be more accurate. Yet, when I was pushed for some sort of description, I always gave the same response, along the lines of a ‘a left wing oldy with some qualifications to it.’ That was until I found myself in the position where the Left had moved from where I was standing. The left had left me behind. And I chose not to follow.

Anarchism had always attracted me to a great extent, but...
