Update: Much More Finished

All right, I feel a lot more secure because I’ve loaded a version of inKera to KDP that wouldn’t embarrass me too tremendously if I abruptly dropped dead and that version went live. Meaning: It’s not final, but it’s way, WAY closer. This means —

— All the chapters are complete.

— There are no overt, obvious notes to myself interspersed with the actual story (I’m pretty sure).

— There are still boldfaced words and phrases, all of which exist to remind me to check the spelling of something, make sure something is consistent all the way through, set something up, give something a consequence, all sorts of things. I grant that it would be mildly embarrassing if the book went live with any boldfaced items in the text, but not nearly to the same extent as a chapter just peetering off into a handful of notes.

— I have finished revision for “Lisig,” I’m pretty sure. The notes I had to myself about it have been dealt with. I may do a tiny, tiny bit more with that story to enhance the flow between that one and Vayu’s story.

— I have a fair number of actual notes to myself about revision for Vayu’s story, but it’s all smallish stuff and I should finish that in a few days, clear out everything bolded, and load a significantly more finished version at KDP, though I will continue tweaking a bit, I’m sure. Not to mention proofreading, aargh, there’s no end to proofreading, merely more or less extended pauses.

I need one of these in every color

AND

I just realized Vayu’s story needs an epilogue, so I’m writing that.

AND

I am also now thinking about Hedesa II. FINALLY. I haven’t actually started it in any significant way, but thinking about it is the first step.

Maybe I’ll even have a title for it before the end of the year!
