Well, I offically left my publisher and am publishing now with Createspace & Smashwords. Everything has problems I know (trying to get the format correct on Smashwords...argh!) but atleast I'm free to sink or swim on my own and no longer at the whelm of another. Anyhoo....I just got my 1st proff from Createspace...so freaking cool. I was outside staining some boards (My hubby & I are building a fence for our backyard...ourselves...by hand. As in snanding, staining, cementing, posting...you get the picture) and my husband & son come walking around the house with shit eating grins on ther faces. "Good news or bad news," my hubby asks (he'd been saying that all morning & afternoon because we coming finding things to dely the actual fence building). Welllllll...
"Bad news," I said.
"We need to drill more holes in the iron."
"Okay...good news?"
Grins get bigger.
From around my husband's back he pulls a small package. "Close your eyes."
I did, sighing. I could hear some shuffling then...
"Open your eyes!"
My book, in paper, with its awesome cover was sitting in my hubby's hands! Whoo hoo! so freaking cool.
Well, as soon as I give my go ahead Enter the Night will be avaliable in paperback. Pretty soon the e-version will be avaliable at your favorite e-store.
My bestie is almost finished with the covers for books 2&3, Behind the Throne & Out of the ShadowedLands then those books will follow in the publishing arena.
I'm also finishing up a short story called Selene (my Ghost Talker miniseries) then I'll begin work on my Diamond Lil series.
