Books I am reading
I have Norm Ornstein's and Thomas Mann's "It's Even Worse Than You Think". In my car I have "In the Garden of the Beasts". One is about the radical right-wing of the Republican Party supporting ideology over country. The other is about the ultra right-wing conservatives in Germany in 1933 and their insistence upon ideology or you get beat up. In both cases I find myself talking to the books as I would a TV news report that might drive me crazy. I just finished Sheehan's "Picture This" and Patrick Rothfuss's "The Name of the Wind" and its sequel "The Wise Man's Fear". I am now waiting for the next book;I am doing the same for all of my favorite authors: waiting. These include Bernard Cornwell, Michael Connolley, Neil Gaimon, George Martin, Jaqueline Sheehan, Robert McCammon, Catherine Schine, David Baldacci, John Grisham, and Richard Dawkins. There are others. If you want a more complete list you can ask me. If you have suggestions for new authors to try, let me know. I am old-school in the sense that I prefer the book which needs no batteries or recharging. I could insulate my house with the stacks of books I have accumulated.
