Well, here I am. A brand new author on Goodreads. I can't believe it. This is a dream come true for me and I can't wait to see some reviews start coming in. Good, bad, I'm ready. This is just such a thrill to me because its always been a dream of mine to publish a story. Everyone has a story to share and I finally figured out how to put it to paper. This is just the start because I have about five other novels in the pipeline ready to roll. The only obstacle is my full time job, but that's okay. I enjoy it.
I can't believe how self publishing has changed this industry. Like indie record labels, its finally allowing authors like me who want to keep the story they want to tell and not be told otherwise.
With Goodreads, there is such a beautiful community of passionate readers and writers who want to share their work and their feelings. I hope to get that far where readers will feel my characters have touched them enough to have discussions.
