One of the coolest things about the Newtonville reading was a man and a woman from Paris coming up to me afterward. A while back, I wrote a short story for an anthology called "Boston Noir" edited by Dennis Lehane (Akashic Books puts out a series of these noir stories, set in various cities). The couple had brought a copy of the French edition of "Boston Noir" from Paris for me to sign. I hadn't even known a French edition existed.
