Romance....

A while back, on Facebook, I made the statement that I despised the definition of the word "romance". It says that romance is "to talk amorously, without serious intentions." This, however amusing to others who read this, makes me angry.

In my eyes, I see romance as an art form that should be used to express absolute devotion. A time to say: "you before me.", a time to do whatever it takes to prove the song in your heart that sings the name of whom you desire, is loud and true.

A kiss against the wind, a deepening gaze of infectious ardor, even a silent cuddle in front of a setting sun....

Oh, how books release the yearning soul within us all, as our hearts linger in the dance of passionate words aloft the embrace of delicate excitement, while we longingly gaze into the eyes of those we cherish....

What do YOU think? Do you agree with me? :)
