Hmmmmmm. I initiated a giveaway on Amazon in order to create a bit of buzz before the release of Book IV of The Seraphinium.

Essentially, it backfired. Amazon does not count giveaways in their best seller algorithms. Therefore, my 3 days of no sales (but gave away 4000 units) crushed my standings in the Amazon ranks.

It took me over a year of slow growth to garner a steady audience and flow of books. In one fell swoop I've decimated my book sales. Slow and steady wins the race people. Always remember that.
