Now that the Federal Aviation Administration has reluctantly released information that some 50 institutions have applied for approval to deploy drones over American communities for surveillance, you have to wonder how will we monitor Big Brother’s all-seeing eyes? It’s not just the Department of Homeland Security but also the Little Rock, Ark.’s police department and the Nicholls State University in Louisiana that have decided they could use drones to observe their jurisdictions. Professional Pentagon drones can run as high as $10 million a piece. How long before the weekenders figure out how to follow these puppie around?
