Marcia arrives in the sleepy beach town of Southport, North Carolina after a broken romance.This would prove to be the least of her worries as she becomes engrossed in solving the murder of her new friend. When she joins up with Clarence, the town attorney, a larger picture involving drug runners begins to unravel. While trying to bring the murderer to justice Marcia places her own life in danger and discovers a new closeness with Clarence.

We recently had an extended family reunion at our home which included my three daughters and their 11 children, without their husbands. It was a chance to bring all the cousins together. After 10 days of swimming, camping, a day at trampoline world, Chuckie Cheese, the State fair, a Fun park, and two birthday parties, we mom's and Grandma were exhausted. The 100 plus degree days were a big factor in pushing our patience to the limit while at home, playing bocce ball, tennis, frisbee, and softball. Considering the negatives, I'm happy to say the children got a lot out of their close quarters. Forced to be understanding, learning good sportsmanship, overcoming hurt feelings, going to church, being examples to one another, good and bad, gave them a new awareness of how to handle many different life situations; with three mothers and a Grandmother to correct them along the way.The mothers were a bit frazzled but we're still one big happy family.
