Intuitive experiences

In my book, Interment, one of the four friends, Mason Gold, has a unique gift. Ever since he was a small boy he just "knew" things. He didn't think it odd that he could chat with him Grandpa when he was a child in kindergarten, until his mother heard him speaking in his room one night. She walked in and saw no one was there. She asked who he was talking to, and he answered, " Why Grandpa, of course". She sat down to break it to Mason that his Grandpa had died a year before he was born.
" Oh, he told me that," answered Mason, " but he said you'd know it was really him who visits me, by the story he told me about the reel to reel tape machine. "
Mason's Mom listened to a story that only she and her parents could possibly know about. When Mason finished , his Mom told him to never tell anyone else about his conversations with Grandpa. He kept his promise, but only up until high school, where he learned how incredibly helpful his gift could be.

The character, Mason is based on a dear friend I have, who actually does intuitive ( or otherwise known as "psychic") readings for others. He actually helps to guide their lives, when they come to him with roadblocks to progress. We all have this ability or connection, to some degree. I have found mine to be rather surprising at times. I am collecting stories for book #2, so feel free to share your own stories.
