Old Wester Union Telegram

I believe this telegram had to do with Prohibition hooch. (The Prohibition of Liquor in the USA was from 1919 to 1933.)

All this is part of my next book. If you're now reading WIPEOUT pay attention to the character Roy Lahood for clues.

This telegram uses STOP because customer was charged when the word PERIOD was used to end a sentence. (Go figure.)

WESTERN UNION -- March 4, 1926 - Sag Harbor - New York
"Rain all day Wednesday fog at harbor still dry STOP If we get wet we'll get soaked STOP Don't sit by the window Sunday STOP Tell the Three all okay STOP
