Now what?
Now that RACING WITH THE RAIN is published and in circulation, I've been thinking: Now What?
An aspect of Indie Publishing that presents a serious drawback is the need to handle one's own promotion, one hundred percent, one hundred percent of the time. A lot more than if one had been traditionally published!
I have two projects that are crying out for completion but which have been languishing on the sidelines due to lack of time -most of my activities being devoted to promoting RACING WITH THE RAIN these days.
These projects are 1) a collection of short stories entitled DOWN INDEPENDENCE BOULEVARD and 2) a novel by the name of JUNTA. Both of these are at a fairly significant stage in progress but as an Indie Author, I've found out that its this last stage of completion that's very time consuming if one wants to put out a quality work.
So, what's all this mean? Coming to grips with reality and more crafty and deliberate time management!
