The Pachamama Alliance

[image error]Many people ask me, especially during this time of year, about the charities that I personally donate to and how they too can give back to others in some way.  One way in which I give back, is giving to a charity called The Pachamama Alliance.  This organization empowers indigenous people of the Amazon rainforest to preserve their lands and culture, and educates and inspires individuals everywhere to bring forth a thriving, sustainable world.  I have personally visited Ecuador with the Pachamama Alliance multiple times, and the work they are doing is profound, and extremely important in this day and age.

The work is so vital because whatever we are doing in our lives, and whatever dreams we are working on… we all need air to breathe and water to drink.  Rainforests are the Earth’s way of providing us that air and water, for free, and the Amazon rainforest is the biggest one on the planet.

Right now, Ecuador’s government is moving forward with plans for new oil development that threatens the Achuar people of Ecuador, the Amazon rainforest, and the power both have to sustain life for us all.

This is an urgent situation that affects all of us.  Please read more about it and consider donating, even a small amount if you can, to give back this holiday season.

Your donation of $25, $50, or $75 to The Pachamama Alliance is an investment in indigenous leadership and a world where we never lose sight of what makes the precious gift of life possible.
