Just hit 100,000 words on the companion novel to A Life Apart, but that's not even half way with a first draft. There is all the work of shaping the words, plot, characters, and emotions. At least in this one there isn't the controversial component of A Life Apart, . But Edward and Richard Rainbow, who have Rosencranz and Guildenstern-style supporting roles in this one, still call themselves "brothers" to avoid Victorian opprobrium.
