How well-received was your novel, The Guestroom?
After I self-published 'The Guestroom' novel, I have been overwhelmed by the support from the community of readers worldwide.
The book has sold well over 3,000 digital copies without any financial promotion. It has spread purely via word of mouth, which, as the author of the book, is fantastic to hear.
I wish to thank every single person who have read the book. I hope you enjoyed it.
So, the big question is; What's next?
Yes, that is a big question. As a new author, I had a choice to make. The story of Philip Watts and Veronica Ng was one I've wanted to tell for a long time and fits into the category of action, adventure, mystery, even thriller. However, after much deliberation, my second book will appeal to a different audience.
Can you give us any more information?
Of course. For my second book, I have decided to leap over into the horror category.
Horror fans are sometimes forgotten about and I would love to re-ignite the passion and fear for horror books that we read in The Exorcist, or The Amityville Horror.
Sounds great. Finally, when can we expect the novel to be out?
At this time in the novel's lifecycle, I couldn't possibly give a release date, however, it IS coming and will re-imagine, re-define and re-ignite the passion for horror books once again.
Thank you.
Thank you too.

After I finished writing my debut novel The Guestroom, I had to make a decision. I had to decide whether or not I want to stick with the mystery & adventure categories that the novel seemed to thrive in. After much deliberation, I have decided to change category for the foreseeable future.
I have started to work on a horror novel. Why horror? Well, I grew up watching horror movies and have always wanted to write something based, or, at least loosely based a real event.
Without giving too much away, my new novel will be a full 90,000 word novel, give or take a few (hundred) words and will be very loosely based on real events.
I will update the blog as I progress.
Thank you to those of you who have read The Guestroom and have been kind enough to e-mail, or follow my blog as a result of that.
