Haven't read The Girl with the Long Green Hear (wating for your review) but I've read every Matthew Scudder book I could find. I have a major crush on Matt.

I was living in san francisco in 1989. downtown san francisco looked like a warzone. dust everywhere, bricks, broken stucco and glass littered the streets. during the earthquake, the cryslal chandelier in my flat went from one side of the room to the other. and the flat itself moved 3 ft. to the west then 3 ft to the east before settling. hell of a thing.
