Pacing the Cage

A while back a family friend asked for a copy of Sisyphus. Last weekend I talked to her while she was prepping for a baby shower my wife was hosting. She said she had been reading my book and was finding it useful - she does individual therapy with prison inmates. She told me a lot of what was in the book applied to her work with men who were literally pacing the cage (the title is from a Bruce Cockburn song). She was looking forward to applying the same concepts to some groups she was starting there.

The subtitle of Sisyphus is "working with children". Sure didn't mean to build that cage.

On the brink of the unknown - as always

A free-form exercise, largely drawn from my work with children (where my first two books also came from). Not sure where it's going to lead - hence the title.

Here we go.
