2012 was a whirlwind year of writing,publishing and promoting my Love Trilogy. It was a labor of love and a year of growth for me as an author. When I first penned Love's Fate in 2009 it was a fun project that I never expected to leave the confines of my personal PC. Then came the trusted few who were allowed to read it and who lovingly encouraged me to publish.
Navigating the publishing world was a learning experience and although I made a few wrong turns along the way I think in the end I found my way to where I needed to be for this series. Finding a place for Love's Fate in the self publishing world helped pave the way for the next two books to easily be released without all the trial and error. I am proud to say that over 500 books were sold in 2012 alone and I'm happy with this small success. Reviews have been good and I feel I've grown as an author through this process.
And so here I am again, with a new manuscript in hand. A new project. A new start. And a decision to make: self publish or once again throw myself at the feet of literary agents and beg for acceptance into this highly selective world. Query letters began going out in January. The process has begun once again.
