So far I have about 30k words written on book two, and just under 5k for book three.

Both of them are blocked out in terms of the general plot already. I'm putting them together simultaneously, or nearly so. It helps make sure that things stay consistent.

It also helps me keep the sizes balanced. I made a commitment to myself to avoid the trap of endless sequels. This series will be a trilogy, and that's that. I don't care if book two and three are each the size of an unabridged dictionary. This story arc gets three books, that's it. If I decide to write more, I will start a new series in the same universe.

I expect to finish book two sometime this summer, and book three before the end of the year. *fingers crossed*
