I think a sequel would ruin the feel of the book for me. I absolutely loved it, but I think a prequel would be amazing. To find out more about her life before, what made her into the person she had become. What kind of job or life experiences helped her garner her skill set. It would be interesting to know what her husband was like and what she was like as a wife and mother.

Thank you for the kind words and your thoughts on the question. I'm still thinking, not sure what to do. But you may be right. A prequel potentially opens a number of interesting doors... Like you, I'm wary of sequels. Remember the Matrix. But then, remember The Empire Strikes Back. It's a tough one.
