Working title: Captured Shadows
I don't know, it'll probably change. I hate titling stuff, it takes longer than the writing! I like having a name for it though, it sort of makes it official so I can't wriggle out of finishing it if it starts to get difficult. (It's "My Sweet Prints" in my head because John said it and made me laugh :P but it's probably best not to use a cheesy pun for a dirty dramatic historical romance, right?)
How deeply has this damn thing has rooted itself in my brain? I'm skiving off my cousin's birthday party tomorrow night so I can work on it.
Better make sure it's not shit now after talking it up like this...

As soon as possible, I promise! It was only supposed to be a short story at first but it's running away with itself at the speed of light. I can see myself going on Red Bull and Pro Plus all-nighters this weekend, better take advantage while the inspiration's there ;)

Thank YOU, it's nice to know it'll be read! I'll start posting a few extracts once I get a bit farther on - as it is I've just got about 12k words of random scenes I couldn't get out of my head, and scribbly notes all over envelopes and post-its and the back of my hand so I don't forget any of the ideas I have while I'm bored at work ;)

Thank you! The idea is so great (mostly John's prompts because he's a genius), I'm stressing about doing it justice now. It's going ok though, and I'm interested to see how it's received because it's nothing at all like SS.You might get a kick out of this though...
Is it just me or is there something scarily familiar about that guy? ;) I collect Victorian photos and I'm "casting" the characters because I might include the pictures in the book, he's in it briefly as one of the main characters' dad.
It's properly creeping me out! I had it propped up against my alarm clock while I find a frame for it, but it spooked me every time I woke up in the night so I closed it in a book D:
