Long before the Internet, there was a document that went “Viral” and which is still something of a “Meme” even today.

I am talking about A Message to Garcia, an essay written by Elbert Hubbard in 1899. There was a man called Garcia, and a message was sent to him. But the thrust of the essay is that young men need to just concentrate on getting a job done, rather than look around for ways to avoid the job altogether.
