@Christina - I downloaded the sample from Amazon, and when I went back to buy it... It was no longer on the website.

I bought it and I check my history and it no longer shows anywhere on Amazon. I hope Dawn can get them to put it back up.

amazon said that the publishers take down book for a short time when thet find somthing wrong

Yeah, there is no facebook page nothing... very odd she didn't even post anything here, or on her blog so it would post here as well.

Okay, I just wrote up a review, but I will say this here.. I find it very odd the author pulled this, but has no information for readers on why. Many of us paid, if she is changing it, she should have left notice so we can return and update when she is done.. It feels like this book was not edited much, and it was a DNF for me.. It has real potential and I hope she fixes it. I however have a major issue with this book being put up and taken down with zero explanation.

I'm so glad I came looking on here for info and found that others are having the same problem I am I thought I was going crazy!

Yes, hopefully because I want this book. It's hasn't been found on any site.

Some of us bought it, and then she took it down the next day. So not sure what is up with that. I check out reviews and most people who poorly rated it, rated it like myself for content, the storyline not being good.. nothing that would need editing, and if that was it, it wouldn't take 10 days.

Can she at least give some information on what's going in and when it will be out.

That's what I getting me, and why i keep commenting on this, I have been waiting for an answer. She doesn't have a FB or a Twitter account or even a blog link here, so we have no idea.. It seems like she didn't like reviews so she took it down..

The author did have a fb page and one for the actual book itself too but it dissapeared at the same time the book did? Like you said would just like some sort of info about what is going on?? ......

I'm so mad...... After waiting to read this book I can get any satisfaction.

SO... it's been a little over 2 weeks since I went looking for this book and found it had been taken down from Amazon and never put back up. Honestly... I think I'm just going to chalk this up to a lost cause and forget about it. I don't know what this author is doing or trying to pull, but I kinda feel like we got scammed. What kind of author publishes a book then promptly takes it down (after people have purchased it) without a word as to what is going on? I'm sad because I was really looking forward to reading Rock Me Slowly, but after this whole fiasco I doubt I will ever look at another book by this author again. I'm glad I didn't get a chance to buy it before it disappeared and I'm sorry that some of you did. For your sake, I really hope that it was at least a decent read.

She clearly uses this site, and using this pen name, rated her story 5 stars, but couldn't be bothered to let us know why she took her book down??

She obviously doesn't care about her readers or potential readers. Also, did you notice that the one book that she had published under the other profile is "no longer available for purchase" on Amazon?? Coincidence?? Something is NOT right!

Something is not right at all!! I did not notice that, but later tonight I think I am going to send Amazon an email and report her. She clearly scammed those of us who bought her half attempt at a book, and psyched out those who never got a chance to read it.. Now she won't respond.. Ugh.
