I Need a Hero

The other day I finished a book I had been looking forward to reading for a while. It was a book written by an author I’ve liked quite a bit in the past. Unfortunately, I was so disappointed. It wasn’t that the story was bad; it was that it was a copy. I couldn’t understand why a well-established author would deviate so far from the books she’s written in order to emulate someone else. Michelle(Chelle) aka Nightshade - Cake Whisperer Great points P.A. While I still like the Bad Boy Millionaire myself I do agree that the market is over-saturated with them. Which is why I keep jumping around from genre to genre to cleanse my palate.

P.A. Lupton It's just crazy how many books are coming out like this. Did you read Rush (Breathless, #1) by Maya Banks

Michelle(Chelle) aka Nightshade - Cake Whisperer No - I didn't bother after you and Bookie read it and didn't care for it. I've got too many other books to read.

P.A. Lupton It's not that I didn't like it. i was so annoyed at the blatant 50 shades rip off's. She even had a contract. I just wish there was some originality

Michelle(Chelle) aka Nightshade - Cake Whisperer Really - a contract? I'm not saying E.L. has the monopoly on contracts but why would any author include that in their book. SMH.

P.A. Lupton Yep. And she signs it! Then she is also a lip biter, he's into BDSM and he even makes an issue over her drinking with friends. Too many similarities.

Michelle(Chelle) aka Nightshade - Cake Whisperer I'll pass. Sounds like I have already read it anyway.
