I have so many ~feelings~ about these I can't properly word things, it's all just dribble and keysmashing. I usually hate porn or erotic photos or whatever, there's too much emphasis on waxed permatanned muscle men which is so totally NOT my thing. I'm a squeamish prude really, I can write what I write and it's ok but seeing all those close-up come shots just makes me go D:

Are you sure these are prostitutes? I agree with every word you write by the way ;)
Definitely not, I don't think they are! I know that was sometimes the case for artists' models (and then photographers' models once that became popular, especially the stuff like this), but these look so much more personal. Even the bj ones are more romantic than graphic somehow, it's all in the way they're looking at each other and where they're putting their hands. It's driving me crazy not being able to know exactly what the situation was!
Where did you find them?I again agree, they have more the look of two good friends who do this for a lark or to remember each other by. At least there is a tenderness in the expressions which greatly pours from every gesture and regard.
Josephine Myles has posted these (and many others) on her blog under 'Vintage Smut Sunday'; not to be missed btw.Great minds think alike, because she felt the same as you, that they are lovers in real life judging by their expressions.
It's lovely to see relationships from this era, when it was so damned dangerous and such things must have been quite rare to find.

I WISH I knew who they were. I love them because yeah they're posed in silly awkward positions like thousands of other dirty pictures of the time, but I've never seen random prostitute models thrown together for a photo shoot who look at each other like that. And I'm obsessing over all the little touches, the hand on his knee in that middle one gives me chest pains! At this point I don't even think the pictures are that hot, I'm just intrigued by their relationship, so... story :D
