"Flashpoint pulls the reader in immediately through both story and character. The characters are pleasantly human and their relationship to one another is personal and real. The perils and wonders of human nature are expressed, at times subtly, at times blatantly; but always honestly. It's easy to relate to the humanness of the characters--to see aspects of one's self and of others in them.
