February 13, 2013. What do Vincent Van Gogh, Isaac Newton, Abraham Lincoln, Ernest Hemingway, and Charlie Sheen have in common? “Heavy metal poisoning,” according to Richard Diaz, author of Illness Defined, in a recent radio interview. Renowned actor Charlie Sheen agrees. Since communicating with Diaz, he has had his dental amalgams removed and is now back on his game.
Diaz has been an outspoken advocate on the dangers associated with heavy metal exposure. For the past 30 years he has researched fields of medicine, the definition of diseases and the organic source of chronic illness. After years of classes, and speaking with researchers, scientists and patients, Diaz proceeded to define ‘illness’ from the basic principles he had collected. Those principles can be found in Chapter 2 of, Illness Defined.
What Charlie Sheen suffered from is what is referred to as a ‘Socially Acceptable Mental Illness’, or ‘SAMI’ – a term originally coined by Leslie Carol Botha, host of the radio show on KRFC FM Fort Collins, CO. Diaz spoke about the affects of mercury toxicity on Sheen’s social and behavioral character during the interview. According to Diaz, if you have a known poison in your body that is 4” from the brain stem and 2” from the brain, there is a profound potential that the mercury and other heavy metals will enter and cross the blood brain barrier –affecting the function of the brain gangyla. A metallic neurological disturbance can lead to violence, rage, anxiety, addictions and many other compulsive behaviors, and CNS disorders.
The technical term for aberrant behaviors due to mercury poisoning is ‘Erethism’. Lead poisoning can produce a mirror image of Erethism and is known as ‘colica Pictonum’. Both conditions influence a person’s irrational response to normal stimuli. Diaz feels strongly that the organic source of disease has been overlooked by scientists, researchers, and the medical industry. In fact, he believes that “no scientific or medical study is valid unless and until a heavy metal assay has been completed on the subject(s).”
Diaz has spent years trying to find a high profile celebrity who might listen to his message about mercury toxicity. Sheen was the only person who responded – and within eight months of speaking with Diaz his amalgams had been safely removed. According to Sheen, his family, and Diaz, his transformation from out-of-control behavior has been immediate and nothing short of miraculous.
In recent years, Sheen has become the epitome of a person who is experiencing ‘erethism mercurialis’, a neurological effect of mercury on the central nervous system and personality traits. His notorious ‘bad boy’ behavior has spanned over 20 years, according to TV Guide. The TV tabloid printed a timeline of Sheen’s out-of-control behavior.
In a recent interview with Katie Couric, Sheen – who just signed a contract with the Fox News Network, for 90 more episodes of his pilot show Anger Management, confided to Couric that the testosterone cream he was taking was the source of his “roid rage.”
According to Diaz, Sheen is correct - but what Sheen and so many other people are not aware of is the presence of heavy metals in medications, dental applications, makeup, consumables and vaccines. Again, Diaz stresses – it is the organic influence that must be evaluated. “In this case, the testosterone cream acted as gasoline on an open fire of mercury.”
The ground-breaking interview with Diaz is archived on radio show host Leslie Carol Botha’s blog. Diaz is committed to making consumers aware of the potential dangers of heavy metal poisoning and is available for media interviews.
