more on making time

I was thinking some more about my last post and about how it applies to more than just time with our children. When I began my life with Suzanne and, soon, with our two children, I set aside things that had occupied much of my time - music, etc. - because "I didn't have time for them" anymore.

Of course that wasn't true. It was a tradeoff. My time was filled with homebuilding, helping to create a family, soccer practice, dance lessons, and so on.

It was an acceptable tradeoff - a no brainer, actually. We all, in most cases, find time for the things that are important to us. Whether its entertainment, exercise, being active in church or other organizations, contact with friends or family, if its important to us, we find the time.

We all do this, every day.

On the brink of the unknown - as always

A free-form exercise, largely drawn from my work with children (where my first two books also came from). Not sure where it's going to lead - hence the title.

Here we go.
