A review of Grace
I just received these kind words from Diane
Kennedy who is a published journalist having won the New Jersey Press
association award for best series, and a third year Masters of Divinity Student
at Liberty University Theological seminary.
“I think that you have a
gem here. But I think that it needs to reach the right people. I think that the
story is great and the poems are absolutely fantastic. The groups you need to
target are Sunday Schools, Christian Schools. You also need to reach people who
are Christian counselors and I suggest that along with this book, have handy a
dealing with grief book by a counselor which they can use side by side during
times like now (the Boston bombing) which have hit children and adults alike.
The package of the 2 should be kept together for counselors. These are some
ideas right off the top of my head and without going in depth. I will read it
again and again but these are my first impressions. Your poetry is fantastic.
You need to have these in print versions available. I suggest that a print
publisher for Christian books for schools and churches. As well, the Christian
book store. I am very good at ideas, as I was in public relations, but I am no
good about bridging to reality. Obviously, I wish I could give you the next
steps on how to do the above but I know that this type of material would be
loved and needed right now. It is timely. It just needs the right vehicle.”
My
newest release, Grace...
This story captures history with a sense of style. Reliving a past while
enlightening a future.
Poetry
written to capture stories from the headlines, from life, poetry vulnerable to
the heart.
