come pray with me and let the knee
bear the weight of misery
let's kneel and speak in silent word
or let your prayer be heard
and hold my hand for God looks down
and listens to us all
hold my hand and feel me squeeze
and pain flows from my heart
and up to Heaven where God's
miracle shines warmth upon our hearts.
come pray with me and let the knee
know long's the day I talk to God
for much to say and heart's to spill
and much to ask of His Great Will.
come pray with me; let silence fill
the room, our souls with wondering feel
and silent listen
for that small still voice
that no doubt is God's in generous grace.
