My Georgian Romances

I'm very busy uploading my historical romances to Amazon and Smashwords. As I live in the UK, I have to use Smashwords to get books into formats other than Kindle, plus shops other than Amazon. It's a great way to ensure readers can get the books, no matter what e-reader they are using.

I've already got three new romances up: Mademoiselle at Arms, The Conqueror's Dilemma and A Lady in Name. And there are two of my old historicals from Harlequin Mills and Boon, which I've edited a little and put them up with new covers: Sweet Sacrifice, Hidden Flame and Friday Dreaming.

The Trad or traditional Regency novel died a death a few years back, but with indie publishing we are seeing a revival, so fans of the genre have lots of new books to read.

I call these my Georgian romances because they are all set a little earlier than the Regency, but they have all the hallmarks of Regency trads and were classed as such with Harlequin.

So if you've been missing sweet traditional Regency reads, I'd love you to have a look at my ebooks.

Mademoiselle at Arms

The Conqueror's Dilemma

A Lady in Name

Friday dreaming

Sweet Sacrifice

Hidden Flame

Marlene I just finished Mademoiselle at Arms and adored it. Fabulous last page, by the way. I am looking forward to reading more from you! I browsed a bit but couldn't find what I was looking for - is there a book about Hilary and Lucilla?

Hi Marlene. No, I'm afraid I never wrote one for them. Effectively they were engaged already and thus not really candidates for a romance! Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I'm thrilled you like that last page... not everyone gets it.

Have you checked my website www.elizabethbailey.co.uk? I hope you find something you'd feel like reading. I've got a new series coming up if you keep an eye out. First one launches soon.
Kind regards, Elizabeth

Marlene Thanks for directing me to your webpage. I was actually wondering if you had previously written a book for that couple. Thank you for your answer. The end really made me laugh out loud. He was a fabulous hero, not afraid to make himself possibly look ridiculous for the sake of humor. Love it!

Elizabeth Bailey That couple leapt into the story fully formed. It's that way sometimes. Funnily enough, I've had others ask about Hilary and Lucilla. Perhaps I'll write a prequel one of these days!

Just Deserts is a two couple story. And the new series is connected. You might meet a hero previously or a heroine, or meet characters again from an earlier book. My governess trilogy (you won't find on the website but on my Amazon author page) is about three connected heroines, who each have their own story.

I must say Gerald is one of my favourites too! Thanks again.
