While sitting on a beach with my wife looking out into the ocean's never ending daydream, I found myself wondering about life. Many people close to me at one point or another had died recently and death was on my mind. I was stressed from work and my inability to control the outcomes at work and thought to myself...well...what is something that I always wanted to try and hadn't? The answer was to write a book.

I did it. I wrote a book and the journey was more fulfilling than any daydream could conjure up.

So..
What am I going to do with the book? Should I let someone read it? Should I even try to publish it after all that I read about how impossible it is to publish a book?

You bet. Comfortable and confident had been my vantage point for the longest, so how about vulnerable and afraid for the present instead?

What a journey of soul searching. Discovering who I wanted to be and where I want to go in my life landed me here at Goodreads.

Now, here I am. A new author. I did it. Living my dream, vulnerable, afraid of what people will think, afraid of discouragement, afraid of hurt drilling deep effecting my will to try again, afraid of the very dream itself.

Yet simultaneously alive and with vigor.
Motivated, still daydreaming and ...revealed.
