Bummer day: Our friend, Ben Tucker, a famous Savannah jazz musician, 82, was killed by a car ramming his golf cart. Ben was a great guy and famous in black jazz/radio history. Mostly he was the king of a 100+ year old bass fiddle. He was gregarious, gentlemanly, inclusive, kindhearted, and much more. I once played nine holes of golf with him and he made me believe I was a great player (trust me, I am not!) As a
star-level ambassador for Savannah, this is a great loss for the city, his sweet life, and his many friends.
