What's in a name?

I was thinking about names for characters today and I have to say, I think the name sets up so much about the character.

It brought to mind a name I couldn't have made up if I tried. It couldn't be any more perfect for a leading man if I tried.

Wolf Cutter. That's right. I actually knew a man once named Wolf Cutter. Oh, and to top it off, he was a General. Yes, General Wolf Cutter.

I'm sticking that one in my back pocket for a future book!

What are some other names I want to use someday? Hmmm. I know I want to have a Remy. A female character named Remington who goes by Remy for short.

Let's see. I've got a Laura coming up in a book I'm working on. And, Cade and Shane. They're brothers.

I once met a man named Justin Case. Seriously. Justin Case. He loved to point out the irony of his name. I think I'm gonna skip that one.

Back to writing. I'm working on Jennie and Chad's story while my son naps. Gotta squeeze in the chapters while I can!
