I appreciate you saying that. It is so nice when others believe in you. I guess I'm trying to explore options, and remember that what's meant to be will be. That's what my mom used to always say. Things will happen when they are meant to happen. I hope your weekend at the writers conference went well. Did you and Janet get to meet up? I wish I could have met you both! I cannot wait to meet up for coffee soon! :) Hope you have a super family Father's Day as well my friend,

Hi,Well, I only got to go to Orlando for Saturday, but it was incredible. I did the picture book day, and learned a bunch. Also, my publisher made the PAL list, so I got to see my book Something Stinks! in the SCBWI bookstore and sign my first autograph! Also, got to meet Janet and the lady who went with me had met her several years ago, so we sat together at lunch, and the 3 of us met for lunch yesterday! So, you are next! I'm often available on Fridays especially from noon on.
Also, I need to start thinking about school visits and was hoping I could pick your brain about them and possibly even shadow you on a visit? (I would help schlep things and do whatever you needed, but to observe you would be amazing-also, might make me some contacts?)
Okay, that's it for me-need to tackle some projects, both home and writing!

Hi, Gail! That sounds so exciting! I'm so happy for you, and am also jealous, lol!! I definitely want to meet up with you both for lunch! Weekdays are tougher for me with the children's schedules, and even though it's Summer, they are in a lot of activities so I'm still a busy bee! I was hoping you both could meet in a few weeks perhaps on a Sunday morning or around noon?
As for the school visits, absolutely you are welcome to pick my brain and shadow as well! I will let you know when the school begins again where I'll be next :).
Now I must also get back to some projects and some sleep :)...will talk to you soon!
Jodi

Have a great family Father's Day-Gail
